Three NW tech companies tap
Sterling Communications

Sterling Communications, Inc., an independent public relations agency based in Gig Harbor, has signed three new clients. These relationships expand the agency’s telecommunications, software and biometric technology portfolio.

“With an increasing number of innovative companies in residence, Seattle and Portland are earning formidable reputations as important technology hubs,” said Paul Forecki, vice president of Sterling Communications. “The addition of Elematics, Merant and SAFLINK to our client roster is a testament to our dedication to the region and our strength in delivering quality services to the broad technology market.”

Jan Ohman, director of public relations at Merant, said they chose Sterling based on a reputation for “insightful strategies with crisply executed tactics.”

Merant, headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore., is a leading provider of software and services that enable organizations to control and manage business-critical information assets, including packaged and proprietary software applications, web content, and other technology initiatives.

Elematics, based in Beaverton, Ore., is the first provider of multi-vendor, multi-carrier control plane software for real-time service control and connectivity in global communications networks.

SAFLINK® Corporation, based in Bellevue, is a leading developer, marketer and integrator of biometric security solutions.
