The West Sound Technology Professionals Association (WSTPA) will hold its next monthly meeting on Oct. 17. The meeting will consist of networking sessions before and after a presentation by Michael Walton, principal of Walton Enterprises International in Silverdale. Walton will be discussing the necessity of proper planning for any project, of any size.

Walton offers consulting services in electronic commerce and marketing to both public and private sector clients. He is a member of the Board of Directors and President of the Internet Business Alliance. He also teaches project management and electronic commerce courses for graduate and undergraduate programs at City University of Bellevue.

WSTPA meetings are held in the new Community Meeting Room of the Poulsbo Branch of the Kitsap Regional Library, 700 NE Lincoln St., on the third Thursday of each month. Meeting time is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.wstpa.org.
