Kitsap residents elected officers of IBA
   Silverdale businessman W. Michael Walton has been elected president of the Internet Business Alliance (IBA) the nation’s first Internet business strategy organization.

Guy Cook was re-elected vice president. Cook is the senior marketing manager in Silverdale of TSCNet, an Internet network and solutions provider. IBA founding member Marilee Beach, Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation at St. Cecilia Parish on Bainbridge Island, was re-elected secretary-treasurer.

The IBA has a wide spectrum of international members and associates from business, government, academia, and high-tech industries. Formed in 1994 in Seattle at the conclusion of the world’s first Internet Way of Business Conference, the IBA has jointly sponsored several international conferences with leading universities, international corporations, and affiliated groups on a number of subjects such as Internet business and Internet law.
