| Sprint will sponsor an Inc. Magazine executive seminar on the role of technology in growing small businesses. The event is presented in conjunction with Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce and will feature Steve Little, senior consultant for Inc. Business Resources and founder of several fast-growth companies.
“Growing Your Business in the 21st Century” will take place Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 8:30 a.m. at the Jewel Box Theater in downtown Poulsbo and begin with a continental breakfast. Admission is $10 and all proceeds benefit the chamber, Attendees are asked to RSVP to Brad Camp, public affairs manager for Sprint, at (877) 541-3385 or brad.camp@mail.sprint.com by Sept. 30.
Camp emphasizes the event is not a sales event, although Sprint will have brochures and at least one high speed DSL data demo for customers who are interested in staying after the presentation.
“This presentation was developed with the needs of the small-to-medium business in mind. Steve spends a lot of time talking with small business owners and understands the issues they’re facing. This seminar addresses those issues and provides insight on confronting and overcoming them.”
Much of Little’s insight comes from his personal experience over the last 15 years. He has been president of three fast growth companies, including Erb Industries and FAME, Inc. As president of The Queensboro Shirt Company, he helped build one of the country’s most successful e-commerce sites. |
