Linux Installfest set for Aug. 3
Linux Installfest , an event being sponsored by the Kitsap Peninsula Linux Users Group (KPLUG), will take place Aug 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Branch of the Kitsap Public Library, located at 1301 Sylvan Way in Bremerton.

Linux is an alternative, free, computer operating system that runs on the same machines Windows does . It’s also been the favorite OS of computer hackers for years.

If you want to try out Linux, you’re invited to come and have it installed on your computer for free of charge.

KPLUG is a non-profit group organized to advance the use of the Linux operating system in the community, as well as to help new users to Linux learn their systems.
