| Apple Computer Inc. called off its Apple Expo 2001 show in Paris, in response to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
“We’re sorry to disappoint our users and developers, but their safety is our primary concern,” chief executive Steve Jobs said.
The Expo, in its third year, had been scheduled to run from Sept. 26-30. Last year, 65,000 people, primarily from Europe, attended. |
