Northwest Network Services offers
Spam and virus e-mail filtering
Bainbridge Island’s Northwest Network Services Inc., owner of NorthsoundNet and BainbridgeNet, recently announced that it now offer Email Assistant, a browser-based email filtering tool that lets customers block unwanted junk mail and harmful viruses.

Email Assistant puts control for spam blocking in the hands of the customer, allowing them to set tolerance levels and select categories. The software quarantines any suspicious email before it arrives to the customer’s in box and let’s the customer select which messages they want to keep.

It also provides an easy way to prevent unwanted viruses from destroying a computer. All incoming messages are scanned before they reach the customer’s in box. If a virus is detected, it is quarantined remotely in a personal, web-based message center.

“Unsolicited Commercial e-mail (spam) and e-mail viruses are violating our privacy and wasting our time.” said Bob Malecki, President of Northwest Network Services. “By offering Email Assistant, we can now provide any e-mail user the ability to block spam and email viruses before they arrive at the in box.”
