| The Lake forest Park Water District in King County recently signed a contract with Poulsbo’s Information Architects for the purchase, installation and training on its WaterWare software package — a customer management, billing and accounting system. The district also purchased hand held meter readers and the software necessary to connect them to WaterWare.
The installation included converting over 850 customer accounts from the previous system to WaterWare, which is a Microsoft Windows-based software suite written especially for managing utility customers.
WaterWare consists of several applications that manages billing procedures, cash receipts, voucher payments, general ledger, fixed assets, developer billing and meter reading and includes ongoing support and maintenance.
