| Poulsbo-based Boxlight Corp., recently expanded its line of presentation equipment to include super slim, high-performance plasma displays from seven leading manufacturers including Fujitsu, Hitachi, NEC, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer and Sony.
With a broad selection of screen sizes ranging from 25 to 50 inches diagonal, yet measuring only 3-6 inches deep, the new plasma displays offer an extraordinarily trim profile without skimping on image size or performance.
According to the company, advanced gas plasma technology creates images that are brighter, clearer and more colorful than those produced by high-end projectors and rear projection televisions. They also offer a versatile, space-saving design and are roughly half the weight of rear projection televisions.
The displays can be mounted on the ceiling, positioned on a desk, tabletop or floor with a stand or hung on the wall like a picture (flat or angled mount). Multiple units can also be combined to create a dynamic video wall.
Plasma displays are compatible with a wide range of resolutions and video and computer inputs for a full multimedia experience. And unlike projectors and monitors, plasma displays are free from geometric or color distortion and are not susceptible to magnetic interference from other electronics in the room.
Boxlight offers plasma displays in a variety of sizes, weights and price ranges to suit virtually any application including business presentations, interactive training, video conferencing, commercial and informational kiosks, exhibits, trade shows, restaurants, retail stores, airports, cinemas and home theater.
