| Bainbridge Island’s Northwest Network Services Inc., provider of BainbridgeNet™ Internet Services, recently completed the acquisition of Budsters.Com—a Silverdale-based Internet access and web hosting company serving small- and medium-sized businesses.
According to owner Bob Malecki, Northwest Network Services acquired the complete customer base of Budsters.Com and certain other assets in exchange for an undisclosed amount of cash.
“The strategic acquisition of Budsters.Com provides us a strong presence on the Kitsap peninsula to expand our service offerings to the business and consumer markets in this area,” said Malecki. “We believe that our high-value, state of the art Internet products and services will not only benefit the current customers of Budsters.Com, but will provide the entire Kitsap peninsula an entirely new level of quality for Internet Services.
The company intends to keep the Silverdale offices of Budster’s open and utilize it as a Central Kitsap customer support center for a new Internet service brand it will introduce called NorthsoundNet. All Budsters.Com customers will be served by the NorthsoundNet brand.
