| The Senate Judiciary Committee is planning hearings to air public concerns about the Microsoft breakup order.
The committee, led by Microsoft critic Sen. Orrin Hatch (R.-Utah), will hold the hearings shortly, said sources close to the committee, which has jurisdiction over U.S. antitrust laws.
We havent set a date yet, said Jeanne Lopatto, a spokeswoman for the Senate Judiciary Committee. There are a lot of issues the remedy will bring up that will have an effect on consumers and competitors.. |
