New Web site for jobseekers
   The state’s employment security department has unveiled workforce Explorer, an Internet site to help job seekers, students and businesses research occupations.
   The site can be found at www.workforceexplorer.com. It gives statistics on the labor market including wages and fast-growing occupations, tips on starting a business, information on training opportunities and quizzes to help job seekers match skills and interests with related occupations.

DayCity Internet now offering
residential service
   DayCity Internet Services, which supplies high-speed Internet connection to businesses on Day Road on Bainbridge Island’s north end, began offering residential Internet service last month through a new division, Sound DSL.
