Vic Ulsh, a longtime Bradley Scott Inc. commercial real estate agent, became the agency’s designated broker in April. Tim Arnold, who founded the business with his wife, Becky, will continue to serve as president but has turned over day-to-day operations to Ulsh. The company is named for their children.

The commercial real estate agency, based in Bremerton, turned 30 years old last year. Ulsh started as an agent 29 years ago, launching his career after studying finance in college and looking for a job related to investments. Born and raised in Gig Harbor, Ulsh moved to Kitsap in May 1983. He has had his associate broker license since 1986.

Asked what he likes best about working at Bradley Scott, he said it’s the family feel of the small business. “Tim runs the business more like a family,” he said. “He gets people to work together on a team.”

The agency has 13 staff including seven agents. With the change, Ulsh will work closely with the staff and oversee all operations. “We’ll keep moving in the tradition Tim and Becky have carried the company for 30 years,” he said.

Arnold, who served as second in command of the former Spot Realty in the 1970s, is taking a step back due to health reasons. He was instrumental in the growth of Spot from one small office in Port Orchard, to a powerhouse of almost 20 offices in Kitsap, Pierce and King counties, before leaving to found Bradley Scott.

During his years in business, Arnold has been very active in the community and involved with many organizations. He has served on the boards of Harrison Medical Center, Harrison Foundation, KPS and Kitsap Economic Development Alliance, among others.

Arnold has also been involved with the Navy League, Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors, Bremerton and Silverdale chambers, to name a few. The Bremerton Chamber of Commerce recognized his contribution in 2006 with its Thunderbird Award, and twice he’s been selected Realtor of the Year. He has done a lot more work behind the scenes, often being called upon for advice and help by local organizations and businesses.
