Scott Bosch to speak at Silverdale Chamber of Commerce's membership luncheon

The guest speaker for the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce’s membership luncheon, on March 28, is Scott Bosch from Harrison Medical Center. He will be speaking about the healthcare industry at local, state, and federal levels and the economy’s impact on healthcare.

Bosch took the helm of Harrison Medical Center as president and CEO in November 2004, launching Vision 2010, a bold commitment to make Harrison the best medical center in the region. With a long history of civic service, Bosch quickly immersed himself in the Kitsap community, serving many organizations including the Bremerton Rotary and the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Boards of the Health Work Force Institute, the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance, and the Washington State Hospital Association, elected as chair of WSHA in October 2011.

Among his 32 years of experience in healthcare administration, he served as president of Banner Health’s Colorado region, where he oversaw nine hospitals in four states. Prior to Banner, he spent 13 years with the nonprofit Munson Healthcare System in Michigan. Bosch earned an undergraduate degree at University of Michigan and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The general membership luncheon held at the Silverdale Beach Hotel is open to the public for $25 per person. Contact the Silverdale Chamber office at (360) 692-6800 for reservations.
