The Historic Lynwood Theatre celebrates its 75th anniversary

The Historic Lynwood Theatre on Bainbridge Island originally began entertaining audiences in 1936 as a talking motion picture house. The theater has come full circle and celebrates 75 consecutive years of operation on July 3. On Tuesday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m. the Historic Lynwood Theatre presents an interview with Peter Ford (Glenn Ford’s son), followed by an audience question and answer forum. Also a screening of the 1946 Glenn Ford film “Gilda” with Rita Hayworth. Ford will be in the lobby before and after the show to sell and autograph his biography: “Glenn Ford — A Life.” Tickets are $10.
