Ray’s Automotive Services has been in operation 25 years, since May 1978 when Ray Adams bought a garage at the head of Eagle Harbor to become the fifth owner of a business that has served Bainbridge Island since the 1930s.

“We constantly try to improve our knowledge of the current generation of automobiles,” Adams said, “plus working on vintage cars, trucks, taxicabs and anything else that comes in the door.”

They do all repairs to most vehicles, except bodywork, and handle tires and “no-flat” wheelbarrow tires. They also have two tow trucks for emergency towing and recovery work.
