| West Hills Honda and L&R Automotive of Bremerton, along with Poulsbo’s North Kitsap Auto Rebuild were named among the top shops in the state by AAA Washington.
AAA’s Top Shop Award is presented to dealerships and independent repair shops that earned high scores on AAA’s customer service index. Shops are graded on customer satisfaction, shop cleanliness, customer response, professionalism and business practices. They are chosen from AAA’s 24 approved auto repair facilities.
West Hills Honda, owned by Chuck and Joanne Haselwood, has been among AAA’s top five dealerships for the past five or six years, said John Fox, who manages the parts and service departments. The store is in Bremerton’s auto center at 520 West Hills Blvd.
L&R Automotive and North Kitsap Auto Rebuild were among the top 10 independent shops for 2001. L&R, located at 1112 Pearl St. for the past 17 years, is owned by Larry Setterlund. It also made the list in 1998.
North Kitsap Auto Rebuild, at 22177 Viking Way, is owned by Jim Sund, who bought the shop in 1996. It made the list for the first time. |
