Mercedes has announced it will launch a compact SUV that’s about the same size as its popular M-Class sport utility this Fall. The G-Class is hand-crafted at a special manufacturing facility in Graz, Austria. Capable of climbing grades up to 80 percent and traversing lateral slopes up to 54 percent, the G-Class is a no-compromise off-roader with a cliff-climbing, stump-pulling personality. The go-anywhere G-Class will offer simple, classic design — plus many technological innovations for safety and convenience borrowed from Mercedes cars.
