| A 2.3-liter V6 that puts 215 horses to the highway will be under the hood of the 2001 Mercedes Benz SLK 230. The SLK’s base engine will still be a DOHC, four-cylinder; but it will get five additional horses as well — 190 verses the previous 185.
The 2001 SLK is now available at Mercedes dealers. The V6-powered version stickers at $43,900, while the four-cylinder model actually drops in price to $38,900, down from $41,000. |
